What is stress?

It is a state of physical and mental worry and tension caused by difficulties in life manifesting anxiety, nervousness, anger, irritation and other stressful conditions and some of them are mentioned below.

Symptoms of stress:

  1. Sleep problems or insomnia occur when one is stressed out since the body sends signals to the mind and the mind can't shut the body down because it keeps getting those signals.

  2. Headaches can be a pin in the ass as stress causes tension in the neck and shoulder muscles which restricts the flow of blood to the brain. The blood has oxygen and other nutrients which are necessary for the brain and if it does not get them, headaches occur.

  3. Stress is an unnatural energy interfering with the way the body should be run and this is why people under stress seem to be more susceptible to allergies and even asthma because stress breaks down natural defenses of the body making them weak.

  4. Digestive problems - if you ever notice people who have stress usually have ulcers and heart burn because under stress the stomach may make too much acid or too little acid, too much base or too little base and again it is because of the stress interfering with the natural way the body should be running.

  5. Pain in the body which has been bothering people for a long time causes stress. It is actually the body telling the mind that something has to be done about this pain or injury. Pain, if not handled increases stress and that, in its' turn, holds the pain or injury in place preventing it from being handled naturally.

  6. Everybody knows there's good and bad energy. Stress is a bad or negative energy. Too much of it can deplete up all the good energy leaving one tired and fatigue. Even such a thing as poor posture can have stress on the body because it has to fight back against gravity. This also can cause enough stress in one's life.

Stress effects have a great impact on the quality of life.

Stress can affect you emotionally. Did you ever see anybody stressed out? That day they were very angry and everything seemed to be very irritating to them even though they may appear healthy.

Emotional as well as physical stress can aggravate existing health problems and cause lots of new health related difficulties in one's life decreasing the natural ability to handle illnesses, injuries and mental disorders

Stress management in today's world is vital. Without it you may never ever be able to enjoy life and true happiness may never be obtained, however stress relief is possible. Consult your doctor for less stress.
