Whether you want to liven up dull hair color or you want to hide gray hair, hair coloring is a perfect solution to both. It gives hair that extra shine and perk no ordinary shampoo can ever offer. However, there are important things you should remember in hair coloring, as some hair dyes can damage and dry out your hair. You can even be left with a horrible color that you want to wear a hat every time you go out. It can literally make or break you.
A medium natural brown base with darker warm low lights and lighter caramel highlights. Natural hair is not one solid color is has an array of highs and lows mixed with warmer and cooler tones through out, taking a medium brown and adding espresso and caramel highs and lows gets you a little Suggestive Caramel
The different kinds of hair extensions come in the form of the following:
• Normal hair - this hair is real human hair and is the most popular as it suits everyone.
• Virgin hair - this hair is real human hair and is to be known as the quality of hair extensions as no chemicals have been used on it at all.
• Asian hair - this hair is real human hair but doesn't suit everyone as the colour is very dark and it's very thick so can look like it's not your hair if your hair is fine.
Semi-permanent colour basically adds colour to the hair without changing the natural colouring too much. This kind of hair dye consists of tiny molecules that enter the hair through the cuticle but do not affect the hairs natural pigmentation. After several washes these molecules, because they are so small, eventually exit the hair shaft leaving your hair as it was before the hair dyeing treatment.
Although colour is suitable for most, short straight hair won't really suit highlights as they can look a bit stripey. On short wavy hair, any types of lights will look striking. An all over colour suits all styles.Go to at least two professional colourists for a consultation. Even if you're not sure about having a colour, they can advise you on what will and won't suit you. Consultations are free and you won't be bullied or committed into anything your not happy with.
Like you do when you have a cut, take a long pictures of colours you like and always be honest about that colours you currently have or had on your hair explaining what worked and what did not.
To what extent you colour your hair, is the trick behind it all. If you have short hair, then it's advisable to go for an overall colouring of the hair. Your hair certainly has a catchy look since its short and colourful. For long haired individuals, highlighting the hair on certain parts is recommended. But it's all your choice and the way you can carry yourself matters the most. In case of highlighting, you can go for some of the sought after methods like chunking, piecing and low lighting.
