Welcome! Are you getting out of your shoulder routines or are you not getting any quality results? The following exercises will give you a new guide to a shoulder routine workout.

The first workout that you should perform is lateral raises. To obtain this exercise first choose a set of dumbbells. Next select a bench that has a back rest and set it up slightly less than straight up. Now place your palms on the dumbbells with them facing forward. Next lift both dumbbells above your head slowly with them by the side of your head. Your arms will form a "L" and this is your starting position. Next lift the dumbbells higher, extending your arms until the dumbbells almost touch. Then slowly lower them back down to the starting position. You can repeat this as many times as you desire. Make sure you keep your back straight the whole time.

The next shoulder workout that you can use is lateral raises. This exercise will also include a set of dumbbells. Stand up and rest your arms down by your sides. Your palms will be facing your thighs. Next, lift the dumbbells from your sides to about shoulder height. Do not lift the dumbbells to the front of you, but instead to the side of you. Your body should form a "t". Next, slowly return to the starting position with the dumbbells by your thighs. Repeat this step as many times as you desire.

The last exercise that will be taught to you is the front dumbbell raises. Now this exercise is very similar to the lateral raises described above. The only difference is that instead of raising the dumbbells like a "t", raise them in front of you. You should perform this exercise with one arm at a time. Remember to perform the raises slowly, as well as when you return to the starting position. Repeat this exercise as many times as you desire.

Note that you should never over work your muscles as this can be dangerous to your body. Go as fast or as slow as you want, but always be safe!
