If you go into any home in the world you will likely find at least one chair in the home. Chairs can be bought in virtually any size, shape, style and color. You can find a chair to go anywhere inside and outside of your home.

Everyone home has at least one dining area in their home, whether it is formal or informal you will find a chair there. Dining room chairs have to one of the most sought after pieces of furniture. Chairs for the dining room are available in so many different ways now a day. They come in the extremely formal and fancy chair to the very casual chair. These chairs are usually made out of wood and are either stained or painted. Dining room chairs can had a padded seat, or the seat and the back could be padded.

The office chair is another commonly found chair in a household. Office chairs can also be found at the workplace. But these are most common in a home office. These chairs are on four wheels, and the whole chair can go up and down. These chairs can range in prices from on the high end to low end. It just depends on the chair, and how comfortable it is, and what it is constructed of.

If you have a patio or a deck then you probably have a chair out there. Patio chairs are very common because just about everyone has a sitting area outside to be able to read a book, relax or watch their children play in the yard. These types of chairs are made out of a variety of materials; they range from iron, wood, wicker, PVC, bamboo, and aluminum.

I absolutely love a rocking chair. These are must have if you have a baby. Rocking chairs come in so many different styles, shapes and sizes. You can get chairs that are fully upholstered, there are some that look like big over sized and over stuffed chairs, and then you have the regular completely wooden rocking chairs. My rocking chair is called a glider; because it doesn't just rock it kind of glides you back and forth. This chair was a life saver on those nights that my newborn would not sleep.

Children can even have their very own special size chair. Many stores today sell chairs that are the perfect size for a child. There are little sofas, chairs and even rocking chairs that have all been scaled down for a small child. Children love these because having their own chair makes them feel so special.

Chairs in the living room are also very common. You can choose from so many different types of chairs. There is the chair that can recline, these have a foot rest built into the chair and will come out when you either push on a lever or push back in the chair. These are so comfortable, they can recline back so far that you feel like you re almost laying down. You also have the non reclining chairs that you can put in your living room.

No matter where you go in the world, whether it be someone's home or a restaurant you will need to be able to sit down, and a chair is a great solution to that. Chairs have been around for a long time, I do not see them going anywhere any time soon.
