Dubai is split into several master planned zones each offering unique opportunities to overseas property investors. Dubai is encouraging inward investment and the time to invest is now . Dubai at this time has the worlds building cranes constructing some of the most impressive and forward thinking buildings in the world. Dubai freehold zones are sometimes a source for confusion and knowing which area to invest may assist when buying real estate in Dubai. One such zone that really sparks the imagination is Dubai Sports City.
Dubai Sports City, the world's first purpose-built sports city, will incorporate state-of-the-art sporting venues and academies along with residential and commercial developments.
Residences in Dubai Sports City include apartment towers, townhouses and villas. There are a number of high-rise apartment and condominium towers already under construction, including The Cube and Eagle Heights, in several parts of the development. A number of these residences are set to open later this year. There will be schools, police stations and medical centers in Dubai Sports City for a complete living experience.
A 60,000 seat outdoor stadium will be the showpiece venue in Dubai Sports City. Soccer, rugby, track and field and other international sports spectacles will take place on a regular basis in this state-of-the-art facility. Next to it will be a 25,000 seat cricket stadium and a 10,000 seat indoor arena that will be able to host basketball, ice hockey and volleyball as well as concerts and shows. Joining all of these spectacular facilities will be a sports mall where residents and visitors can experience shopping and eating experiences in a sports environment. Throughout Sports City will be health clubs, an Olympic size swimming pool and other amenities.
World Famous sporting academies will be located in here, hosting some of the world's most promising youth athletes living in the ideal environment. Manchester United Soccer School, ICC Global Cricket Academy, David Lloyd Tennis Center and Butch Harmon School of Golf will all have a home in this sporting paradise.
Owing to the nature of Sports City residential building will be limited and where there is short supply there is often high demand leading to increasing real estate prices.Construction of Dubai Sports City is well under way and with the first sports facilities and homes being completed by late 2007.
Dubai Sports City will host a world-class medical facility, including a specialist sports medicine and re-habilitation centre. This facility will also provide the main medical services for the entire development including 24-hour emergency facilities.
