The 12 zodiac signs are classified according to the temperament and basic nature they show by the four basic elements of fire, air, water and earth. Each element consists of 3 zodiac signs. This concept is based on Greek philosophy about the building blocks of life. Fire keeps us warm and helps in creation of other resources, we breathe air, we cannot live without water and what we stand on is the earth. Activity like fire is animated and energetic, thoughts are airy, feelings are fluid like water and the body is earthy. For example, a person who is very emotional fits the water tag.
The signs falling under the element fire are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, under Air are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, under water are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces and under Earth are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. We will discuss the characteristics of each element so that learning astrology becomes easier. Each person’s horoscope has different elements governing it.
The element Fire:
The best online horoscopes will tell you that people falling under this element are passionate, warmhearted, magnetic, generous and like being the center of attraction. They don’t believe in subtlety and tact, and are very confident. They are very creative, exuberant, vital and outgoing, adventurous, impulsive, courageous, and inspire others. They are go getters and trendsetters. Once they have set their mind on a particular goal, they will pull out all odds to achieve it. They always get what they want. Others look up to them as their leaders. When in a group, they pep up everyone’s energy levels and enthusiasm. If you are feeling low then go talk to a fire sign, they will pep you up in no time, such good motivators they are.
The element Air:
The best astrology sites on the web report that air signs are the communicators of the zodiac. They are good at writing and speaking. If you are short of ideas, approach an air sign. They are constantly brimming with ideas. They cannot remain at one place. You will find them constantly moving about and changing. They are social butterflies. They are very practical and rational. You won’t find them crying buckets of water or drowning themselves in emotions. They are not the ones to be restricted by anything.
The element Water:
Free astrology reports will tell you that water signs are governed by feelings, emotions and personal relationships. These people are very sensitive and are more concerned about other people’s feelings and emotions than their own. They are known to express their emotions freely and verbally. These people are also secretive. You will often find them retracting back into a shell when the world becomes too cruel for their sensitive souls.
The element Earth:
The best online horoscopes say that these signs are as stable and unmoving as rocks. They are practical, reasonable, patient and persistent. They do not give up easily. They are not flexible or spontaneous, but do everything with planning. They do not crave the limelight but prefer to do their work silently. They are very conventional.
So now that you know what characteristics are common to every sun sign, you can use this knowledge to understand people around you better and improve interpersonal relationships.
