We are always aiming to achieve more. We believe that once we have reached a certain quota, we would have established the amount that would make us happy enough.
The truth is, if you cannot appreciate what you have in this moment, you won't be able to appreciate anything else, because even if you have one million in your account, you will need two million to be happy. And on and on and on. Having a sense of direction is really having a goal. The difference is, our actions are more geared towards self expression as opposed to personal acquisition.
It is like being naturally driven as opposed to externally driven. Internally driven action (sense of direction) translates into "I am already perfect, whole and complete, I have plenty and I would like to share." Externally driven action (goals) translate into "I need something to make me perfect, whole and complete." This is a fear based action that will have you chasing something for the rest of your life because no matter what do you have or accomplish, there is always something more you need to have.
There is nothing wrong with having goals for they will provide you with what you want. It is just that the things we want may not necessarily be the best things for us. Yet, when we trust our inner guidance, we not only enjoy the things we are doing at every moment but we also seem to experience nonresistance or what some say, effortless accomplishments. This allows us to experience peace as opposed to the stress that comes as a result of trying to make things happen or forcing things to happen which in every case just creates more problems resulting in physical imbalances or diseases.
Contentment does not mean that you will not have that one or two million dollars for that matter. It simply means that you no longer need to chase all that because you can recognize all of it as a part of your divine nature. So instead of trying to make more, you simply experience more. And as a result of your experience, the physical world will provide you with the right amount for whatever is you desire. Because your desires are like suggestions from the Holly Spirit expressing His desires through you.
Learn to differentiate between goals that are internally driven as opposed to goals motivated by external acquisition. The ones that we seek externally are almost always dictated by our ego, our small self, the part of us that is never satisfied and can never be satisfied no matter what we do. Internally driven goals on the other hand, these come from a completely different space. They are usually aligned with a higher purpose.
It is fine to have financial goals as long as we understand that we use those finances to helps us live the live we deserve while at the same times allowing us to fulfill our mission. We don't experience fulfillment as a result of "having more." We experience fulfillment by fulfilling our life's purpose. By expressing our talents and sharing our gifts with the rest of the world.
People aren't motivated by money. People are motivated by purpose. A purpose beyond materialism, beyond benefits, beyond compensation, beyond any thing this world offers as a tangible good. People want to be a part of something greater than themselves. It doesn't matter if it's bettering the country, building dreams in the classroom, inspiring the world with your music, or presenting the gospel to every man, woman, and child. It doesn't matter how you do it. It doesn't matter. People want it. We crave it.
Somewhere deep within your being or soul, there is a degree of clarity about doing things that brings you joy. Take the action that brings you joy and let it be your compass. On the other hand, external goals leads to separation from your true source reinforcing the illusion that you have to chase things outside yourself in order to experience happiness and success. Remember the words of Jesus Christ, "Seek you first the kingdom of heaven and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."
Seek that which resonates with your soul. Resonance shows you the path of least resistance because it sets your heart alight with enthusiasm and synchronizes you with the flow of life. The more you choose to pursue that which resonates your soul, the closer you get to superconductive existence. What vibrations you then emit impress themselves upon the environment, aligning the events you experience just as a resonating metal plate aligns the sand particles sprinkled upon it. The beautiful geometry that arises then manifests in the form of synchronicities and serendipitous opportunities.
The one who planted the seed in your awareness is also going to be there to complete it. When God presents you with an idea, trust that God will take care of all the resources necessary to bring that idea into manifestation, as long as you stay on purpose and not on outcome.
Remember that God's ideas are not for the purpose of getting but for the purpose of serving. And the more you serve, the more you receive. Abundance is not about being able to pay your bills, ultimately, abundance is about having plenty to share.
When you take the present step, the next step shows up for you. This is very important to understand because most people want to have it all figure it out before they move in the direction of their ideas. That is why most give up before they even begin.
If you want to achieve a goal you've set, the most crucial part is to decide to manifest it. It doesn't matter if you feel it's outside your control to do so. It doesn't matter if you can't yet see how you'll get from here to where you want to be. Most of the resources will come only after you've made the decision, not before.
The universe itself, can sense a lack of commitment to a goal. Who wants to waste their time on someone who isn't committed? You even feel more energized and motivated yourself to contribute to the success of people who are very clearly committed to a goal that resonates with you and which is genuinely for the greatest good of all. This process works the same way within your own mind. If your consciousness is divided against itself, do you think it will commit all its internal resources to your goal? Will your subconscious give you all the energy and creativity it possibly could, or will it hold back?
The universe itself works on the principle of waste not, want not. It is the superconscious mind. When you've made a clear, committed decision, it will open the universal floodgates, bringing you all the resources you need, sometimes in seemingly mysterious or impossible ways. Whenever you want to set a new goal for yourself, start by setting it. Take the time to become clear about what you want and then decide it to be so.
We are better off making a decision and correcting later than not making a decision at all. By making a decision we are putting energy into motion. Now, here is the beauty of commitments. When you commit 100% not 90% or 99.9% but 100%, you bring clear energy into your desired result. You will begin to attract into your space all the necessary resources needed to help you attain your dream. A real decision is made when you cut off any possibility except what you've committed to do, when you will not look back, when you will not even consider the alternative of giving up.
When the synchronicities begin dropping you clues, you do not always understand how they'll be part of the path to the goal. But invariably there's an intelligence at work, and if you trust it, it will work just fine. The resources always show up. No matter what the external circumstances may look like, you are always provided and well taken care off. That is as long as you keep your awareness on God and not the external effects. Understanding how God and the universe works makes you feel contented and secure that you will always be provided, which gives you the confidence you need to pursue your purpose wholeheartedly.
Do what you love and the money will follow. Feel the sense of satisfaction that comes from completing your work. When you allow yourself to feel good about what you do, you resonate the vibrations that attract the best results into your life. Focus on the sense of fulfillment and satisfaction of having done well what you love doing. As long as you are pursuing that which makes you happy, that is all that matters.
