Rhyl is the growing in popularity seaside resort in North Wales. After world war two a lot of people from Manchester and Liverpool had moved to Rhyl and unfortunately this changed Rhyls image as the elegant Victorian resort. This lead to a decline in tourism, but now Rhyl is again blooming with energy with help from the funding secured by the Welsh Assembly Government to develop the seafront.

There are loads of things to do in Rhyl, as well as being in a convenient place for visitors to explore other surrounding areas in North Wales. Sun Centre (Indoor Water Park)

It has several swimming pools and one with a wave machine. There are indoor cable cars, a chance to body board, and also water slides for everyone to enjoy.

Beach

Rhyl has its own beach which stretches across the North Wales coast. Here is a popular destination for people from the North West looking for a stunning beach to spend those sunny days.

Brickfields Pond (Nature Reserve)

Brickfields Pond is a beautiful nature reserve which is situated just next to Rhyl. You can enjoy the striking lake surrounded by grass and forest. Here you can relax and there is a sculpture trail for you to enjoy.

Next to the Rhyls beach is a children’s complex which is full of amusements, rides, restaurants, cafes and even a cinema. This will keep the little ones entertained for hours.

Rhyl is close to other popular tourist destinations like Llandudno, Conwy, and Snowdonia National Park. There are also historical castles to visit in North Wales in Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Dolbadarn, and Dolwyddelan.
