Tension Headaches -

You'll feel worse in the morning, but the pain may subside a bit towards the afternoon as the sinus passages drain. If you are someone who has a history of allergies or any irregularities within the nasal passages such as polyps or bone spurs, you may get frequent sinus headaches.
Cluster Headaches -
This is one of the most painful types of headaches and gets its name from the fact that they often occur in "clusters" or frequent bouts of attacks that last from a few weeks to several months. These headaches usually occur at the same time each day until the cluster phase ends. They can last between 45 to 90 minutes, and they are more common in men.
Some things that can trigger cluster headaches include:
" Certain medications (including nitroglycerin)
" Hormonal abnormalities or imbalances
" Heavy smoking
" Drinking alcohol
Migraines -
Migraines are incredibly painful, chronic headaches that can last for several hours or even days. Some people who get frequent migraines report seeing flashes of light (called auras) or blind spots.
Migraine pain is pulsating and may be located on one side of the head or both sides. The pain often gets worse with physical activity, and is often accompanied by nausea with or without vomiting and increased sensitivity to sound.
What are Some Treatment Options for Headache Symptoms? -
Depending on the nature and severity of your headache complaints, your doctor may recommend various treatment options that might include stress management, counseling or medication. However, not all headaches will require medical treatment.
There are some self-care treatment options that you can try such as relaxation, meditation, rest or over-the-counter pain relievers. If your headache symptoms are severe and it does not subside despite your caring for yourself at home you should seek medical attention.
