Over come your own objections by letting someone else check up on you. The thought that someone might pressure you into doing the task might motivate you into finishing it; this is an old school method and it works. Another thing is to have an understanding on who stands to lose by your procrastination; you, your employer, your friends or your family. Once you understand that the results of your procrastination might be hurting other people this might motivate you into action. Reward yourself for completing tasks on time; maybe small rewards like a walk in the park or going to the movies might help.
Make the schedule and follow it accordingly. It will give you a very nice return of work productivity, organization, and finishing in timely manner and you can spend more time for yourself and family. It is always the best part of the day to spend time with family. A simple get together for dinner and chat is amazing. You can enjoy such time only if you will learn how to manage your time. You will enjoy the benefits of time scheduling when you make it a part of your daily routine.
Organize your one-week segments as a block of time so they are more manageable. Place everything you need to do that week on your calendar, including the routine and mundane, as well as the important task of taking care of yourself. Do not look at your schedule in one-day segments, you will tend to micromanage your schedule and overbook yourself thinking you can fit one more thing in. Once you know what you need to do in a one-week period, you can allocate your time based on both daily needs and importance.
Today there are many websites providing downloadable calendars for free of cost. They offer some personal touch along with pre-existing calendar like different design template along with your personal information. Many websites give free printable options as well. A calendar has a history of thousands of years. It shows the existence of history some 1000 years back. People in different parts of world follow different calendars. American people follow Standard calendar whereas Chinese and Japanese follow their own version of calendars. There are religious Calendars as well and these are designed in such a way that they give information pertaining to a particular religion.
Time is an expensive resource used to create, to build and to formulate destiny. (My definition) And if you look at in such a way the value and your perception of the way you spend Time takes on a higher dimension of thinking. Your approaches to your everyday tasks are now viewed as unlimited possibilities that must be managed with precision and thoughtful prioritization. I know that last statement seems quite complex and intense but if you look at your time as something that is given to you create an empire of possibilities you would not put things are your list that do not create sustaining reward for your destiny. So the way you view your time, the way you see your time has to change before you can manage it.
