Companies use all kinds of different products as promotional items. The problem is that so many of these promotional items are actually bad for the environment. Many of these items are made out of pieces of metal or plastic and are non-renewable resources. It could be argued that even paper products are not all that renewable since it takes years for trees to grow large enough to produce paper pulp. Yet, companies rely on promotional products as a way to get their name out and have people remembered them. Many recruiting companies give out pens or hats as a way to constantly remind people about their business. Recently many companies have been turning to promotional bamboo lanyards as a way to promote their business with an eco-friendly item.

Bamboo lanyards are great because bamboo is a very sustainable resource here on the Earth. It grows plentifully and also very quickly and just happens to be biodegradable. Bamboo is also very durable and flexible, which makes it a great item to use for a lasting effect with potential customers. Bamboo lanyards are nice because they are something you wear around your neck or your waist that you always have on you. If a company's logo or brand is stamped on it, you will be seeing the company's name multiple times throughout the day. This a golden opportunity for any company to get that kind of exposure.

The lanyards are made out of bamboo fibers that are woven into thick and durable layers. After they have been woven they are dyed in colors of your choice to reflect your company or product. You could put the name of the company, a phone number, website, or logo on the lanyard. The lanyards are typically very soft and have many different uses. They use a metal clip on the end to hold an id card, keys, glasses, or any other personal item. This is a great tool for people to hold an important item without having to use their hands or pocket space. It also makes the item readily available without it getting lost.
