Pain in the Neck #3: Bad Posture While Driving -
Car seats are completely adjustable and I see it way too often. A person will be driving down the road with the car seat leaned way back. This is bad for the neck. Just like at the office, you want to sit up straight in the car to make sure your neck does not have to strain for you to see. Not to mention, sitting up straight can help your eyes as eyestrain is a common cause for headaches as well.
Solution - Put your seat upright. If this feels uncomfortable, try pushing your tailbone further back in the chair. Many people sit with their bottom pushed too far out on the seat. Your bottom, back and neck should all be in a straight line when driving down the road.
