Hindi is classified as an Indo-Aryan language, spoken widely in Northern and Central India. According to the Indian census 2001, 41% of the Indian population comprises of native speaker of Hindi dialects. The Indian constitution accords Hindi (Devanagari Script) as the official language of India. In the Eighth Schedule of the Indian constitution, Hindi is one of the languages among the 22 scheduled languages. Official Hindi generally referred as the Standard Hindi is effectively used for the administration of the government at the national level. In Delhi (Capital city), Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, Hindi is mainly spoken. All these factors pave way for the Hindi translation when one ventures to do business in India. In order to reach the mass, business person have to hire a native Hindi translator.

According to the Indian Census 2001, there are 29 other languages spoken by more than a million native Indian speakers.
