"My, oh My! Where have the Fruits and Vegetables Gone?" -
A common problem that many overweight people have is consuming fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. Granted, a pack of cookies may cost several dollars less than a bag of plums, but the benefits are worth the investment.
Even for those of us on a budget, delicious garden vegetables and home grown fruits can be affordable. Something as simple as opening up your local newspaper to find out when the next farmers' market sale will be held can be the solution.
Remember, fruits and vegetables hold vitamins and minerals that simply can't be replaced. Taking them out of your daily menu in the long run could be damaging.
Many times it seems intimidating to join a weight loss program. Maybe you are not brave enough to walk through a door that tells the public you are going in to lose weight. But trying to tough it out on your own may be too hard.
