10 Natural Hair Loss Remedies

Saw Palmetto extracts are used to address prostrate problems and its anti-androgenic properties can be effective in treating hair loss.
- Nettle Root Extract
Known to contain high levels of minerals, lipids and vitamins A and C beneficial to the hair, the nettle root extracts have been shown to inhibit the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme that produce DHT.
- Rosemary and Sage
These are two herbs with a long tradition of being used to wash hair with. Just boil them together with nettle, peach leaf and burdock, strain and use the liquid mix to wash hair daily.
- Jojoba Oil
This is another herb used for centuries among Native Americans and Mexicans to get rid of dandruff and promote healthier hair. It’s a moisturizer that mimics the natural sebum oils of the scalp and is great if you suffer from any scalp or skin disorder that cause hair loss, like eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea or dandruff.
- Aloe Vera
This is used by Indians and native Americans to stop hair loss and promote healthy hair growth and has been known to help balance the pH levels of the scalp and cleans the pores. Use the Aloe Vera gel mixed with coconut milk and wheat germ oil to make a shampoo.
- Henna
This is another traditional Indian herb that maintains a healthy air when used as a conditioner. It is known to repair the hair shaft and seal hair cuticles protecting the hair from breaking and losing its natural shine.
- Cleansing and Detoxification
These have been shown to maintain healthy hair as a healthy diet regimen can get rid of toxins in the body. Having a diet rich in fiber like the Psyllium Husk helps to eliminate waste as well as literally scrub the colon walls.
- Exercise
While it doesn’t directly grow hair, exercise improves blood circulation, deliver oxygen and nutrients to the cells and help in digestion and generally promote a healthy body that is conducive to healthy hair follicles.
