It is important to understand how faith works, from the scientific and psychological perspective as well as from the theological and scriptural.

The subconscious mind is like a film in a movie camera, a tape in a tape recorder or a chip in a computer. Knowledge is stored permanently.

We know that humans never forget anything. Every experience we've had is indelibly recorded within us. We may lose the powers of conscious recall, but under deep psychoanalysis, we can usually recollect experiences that have long been forgotten in the depths of our memories.

When you exercise positive believing by imaging, visualizing or picturing in your mind what you desire, you are in effect making a cybernetic imprint. Your strongly held beliefs leave an indelible stamp on your subconscious, almost like a tattoo on the skin. As you evaluate the thoughts you allow into your conscious mind, remember: Each thought becomes a tattoo on the skin of your memory either for good or ill.

Therefore, it is vitally important to your mental muscles that you control what you allow to be imprinted on the hard drive of your mind. You are either inputting positive believing which is truth or false truth which is fear.

Remember; FEAR is “False Evidence Appearing Real”.

Phil 2: 5 says “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”.

II Corr 10: 5 says “Casting down imaginations, and every high (false) thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”

Fears are nothing more than states of mind. One's state of mind is subject to control and direction. Physicians, as everyone knows, are less subject to attack by disease than ordinary laymen, for the reason that physicians DO NOT FEAR DISEASE. Physicians, without fear or hesitation, have been known to physically contact hundreds of people, daily, who were suffering from such contagious diseases as small-pox, without becoming infected. Their immunity against the disease consisted, largely, if not solely, in their absolute lack of FEAR.

There are six basic fears with which every human suffers at one time or another. Most people are fortunate if they do not suffer from the entire six. Sometimes they remain hidden in the subconscious mind, where they are difficult to locate, and still more difficult to eliminate.

Do not be deceived by the habits of these subtle enemies. Before we can master an enemy, we must know its name, its habits, and its place of abode. Make the decision today to find out if any of these six “Ghosts of Fear” are standing in your way of the success and happiness you are seeking?

In closing, I would remind you that "Life is a checkerboard, and the player opposite you is TIME. If you hesitate before moving, or neglect to move promptly, your men will be wiped off the board by TIME. You are playing against a partner who will not tolerate INDECISION!"

The reward is worthy of your effort. Will you make the start and be convinced?
