We often forget that the Lord saves us from eternal death but he leaves us on the earth for a period before we can enter everlasting life. During this period of earthly life, we have struggles. We struggle against Satan and his schemes.
We are up against a very powerful and intimidating enemy. His whole intention is to torment, tease, and discourage us from believing in God. He succeeds very often and gets away with it. The failure to deal with him and defeat him is entirely our fault. Christian websites should help us and teach us on this topic more and more.
Most of us are not aware of Satan's role in our life. Even if we know we do not take it either seriously or ignore it to our own peril.
The Christian life on earth is for a purpose. God does not do anything without a plan and purpose. I believe he wants to keep us on this earth after salvation for two purposes. One is to mature us and the other is to spread the good news and get as many people possible into the kingdom. Christian websites are a powerful tool today to help us achieve evangelism as well as Christian maturity.
We need to empower ourselves with God's power. Paul urges us to be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. There is mighty power available to us in the Lord. We should actively participate in strapping this power and working with God against the forces of evil. Only this power will empower us to fight and defeat the enemy every time he attacks us.
We need to use our minds to get involved in fighting instead of giving up every time he attacks. He is a defeated foe and he will always remain defeated. Do not allow him to deceive you by acting as if he is powerful. He is not. You are powerful through the Lord.
The cross has defeated him and dethroned him. Stand on it and fight him with God's power. Christian websites should take advantage of the technological power of today and help us defeat the enemy and come victorious in our struggles.
God will help us in our struggles to realize that every struggle will take us higher to measure up to the image of Christ. He is the hope and glory for each of us.
