Out of the sixty four teams that started the March Madness championship there are only four left and none of them are #1 seeds. We are very close to find out who will be 2006’s NCAA Basketball Champion. This was a very exciting weekend after eight out of the 12 games were decided by five points or less or in overtime.

The final four teams will be playing on April 1st: UCLA versus LSU at 8:45pm Eastern Time and George Mason will play against Florida at 6pm ET.

Small and unrecognized George Mason defeated Michigan State, North Carolina and Connecticut in less than two weeks surprising everybody. If we talk about funds destined for each school by Department of Education statistics, George Mason's operating expenses for men's basketball are approximately $237,000, or about $20,000 per player. Connecticut's expenses are $1.9 million, or $100,000 per player.

George Mason was like David fighting Goliath, and at the end, who knows, David might win again!
