As the end of times draw near, many are thirst to seek and know the truth. Many would want to be a part of a religion that would teach them and guide them in their spiritual journey. Kenneth Copeland Ministries is one of the many religions and denominations who claim to be the truth. Are their claims really true?

Kenneth Copeland, the founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministries in 1962, was born in Texas in December of 1936. He used to be a recording artist back in 1957, a chauffeur and pilot in the 1960s and a member of ORU Board of Regents in 1967. His work of preaching the gospel has reached other countries. He has offices in Europe located United Kingdom and Ukraine. He has reached Northern America as well namely Canada, some parts in Asia which like Australia and countries of the black race which is Africa. His main headquarters on the other hand is based in Newark, Texas. This only shows his dedication of preaching and passing on the light he received to the world.

Kenneth's mission is to proclaim that Jesus is Lord and he has 4 strategies in doing this. One is through television broadcast. Through Believer's Voice of Victory, he was able to reach millions of households just by tuning in to that channel. One can also read Kenneth Copeland Ministries published magazine known as the Believer's Voice of Victory. Live conferences are also held to those who would want to witness first hand his preaching and healing services.

Using the most innovative technology today, the Internet is one of the most efficient ways of spreading His word. They have their own personal website that you can visit if you want reading materials for Bible studies or a 1 year program of Bible reading plan. The site also offers programs designed for our young ones like the 14Forty Youth Ministry and the Super kid Academy Children's Ministry. These programs suitable for all ages indicate his commitment to reach out all age levels and let them know God.

Nevertheless, Copeland got entangled with financial scandals these past few years. In 2006, his business partners accused him of leaving their partnership with thousands of dollars of debt. He also had properties that were in question by the Senate in 2007 and 2008. According to Copeland, his $20 million jet was used solely for ministry purposes. Sadly, his remark was still doubted by the Senate and the press.

As a guidelines stated in IRS, it indicates that pastors should receive reasonable compensation and their earnings should not be used for their personal benefit. The Copeland's always insist that they follow the law about taxes. But their wealthy lifestyle is very contrary to what they teach about Christian living which is simplicity. 2 years ago, a report by News8 showed a video exposing the said greediness of the televangelist.

In addition to his negative financial stature, the Kenneth Copeland Ministry instructions were said to be a mixed breed of Christianity and have a touch of partly Greek and Oriental Philosophy. Some of Copeland's alleged heresies or false doctrines were (1) Adam and Jesus are physically identical. (2) God is both masculine and feminine. (3) God is forgetful. (4) Jesus is an emaciated spirit like a worm and many more. He also had false prophesies like he predicted that in the next few months, a billion Muslims will have salvation. Not only that, he said to have corrupted several verses from the Scriptures with his own interpretation.

Matthew 5:3 clearly states that man may seek the word of God to fill in his spiritual needs. However, it will also be wise to take caution or be wary in your choice of religion.
