Multilevel marketing removing fear to be successful
As part of my book review on the Think and Grow Rich book, written by Napoleon Hill, today I want to discuss chapter fifteen, fear. In particular I am going to discuss how important it is for people deploying multilevel marketing to remove fear in order to be successful.
In order to be successful in anything you do it is important that your subconscious mind is working for you and not against you. But this will never happen if one of the three negatives exists within you: Indecision, Doubt and Fear.
Indecision can create doubt, and when blended together they can create fear.
Once you fear something your subconscious mind will always be working against you. This is especially a concern for people deploying multilevel marketing as their preferred marketing approach. People they will come into contact with will sense this fear and will not be receptive towards your business opportunity.
I remember some great words from a book I recently read, Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, 'The car goes where the eyes see'. It is about a racing car driver and if he sees a brick wall during a race he will most probably crash into the wall. But if he can see past the wall he is then likely to miss it. This quote emphasises that what you are thinking is what you will often receive.
The concern with this is if your thoughts are negative thoughts, such as fear. If you fear something it will quite probably occur. Fear will eat away at all of your positive thoughts so you are only left with the negative thoughts. And when this occurs you are in trouble!
Multilevel marketers need to release their fears and truly believe in their business opportunity.
Without this lack of fear they will not be able to attract the right people to their business in order for it to grow. Potential new customers need to sense your total belief in the business before they will consider investing their time and money with you
You need to protect yourself from negative influences. This may mean you stop talking to certain friends or family as they may be negative of what you are doing. Multilevel marketing has a bad rap from previous practices utilised and this can result in you receiving a lot of negative thoughts from other people.
Identify your friends and family who are positive in what you are doing and spend more time with them. Join like minded groups who will provide a positive influence on you. And work on your subconscious mind through autosuggestion so that your mind is filled with positive thoughts which will mean the negative fears cannot get in.
Today I have discussed chapter fifteen on the importance of removing fear from your subconscious mind from the Think and Grow Rich book, written by Napoleon Hill. Particular focus has been on how important it is for people deploying multilevel marketing to remove fear in order to be successful.
Have a quick look at my video on this chapter where I talk about the link between the 1930's depression, today's financial recession and fear.
