CAT (Common Admission Test) is a National level entrance exam conducted by IIM every year. This entrance exam is compulsory to clear, if you really want to get admission in Top Management Colleges of India. The time duration of CAT exam is two and half hours and it includes the components i.e. quantitative ability, Data interpretation, Logical reasoning, Data sufficiency, Verbal ability and Reading comprehension. There are some useful tips that will help you to crack entrance exam with flying colors.
Conceptual Learning
Firstly, an MBA aspirant should clear your basic skills and areas of all subjects. In this regard, he should make a list of all concepts which has been assessed in previous CAT papers. Moreover, you should also make a preliminary analysis of strengths and weakness regarding to these concepts. You should work on your weaknesses by learning basic concepts, by solving practice tests etc.
Solve Practice Tests
As we know that now CAT entrance exam is a computer-based test. So you must be familiar with this testing environment. On Internet, you will find many exam simulators that you can download and do practice tests. You should also have some computer skills for this entrance exam such as usage of keyboard for completing the test registration process, usage of mouse for the navigation between questions or sections etc.
