An aphrodisiac is a substance that is used in the belief that it increases sexual desire. The name comes from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sensuality and love. In fact, many people believe that some aphrodisiac foods increase and stimulate desire and performance by the suggestive nature of the food and the ritual surrounding the food presentation. These food acts like Viagra Levitra or Cialis Medicines and increase libido.
Today, modern science is proving the nutritional validity of foods historically regarded as aphrodisiac. Aphrodisiacs were first sought out as a remedy for various sexual anxieties including fears of inadequate performance as well as a need to increase fertility.
These are some aphrodisiac foods that increases lovemaking performance and desire:

Raw oysters are best served with a glass of chilled Champagne for a truly romantic meal. This male hormone is believed to increase the female libido as well.

The phallic shape of some foods is a consideration in the selection of aphrodisiac foods. However, asparagus has more to offer than suggestive form. Apparently for a good reason: asparagus is a great source of potassium, fiber, vitamin B6, vitamins A and C, and thiamin and folic acid. Feed your lover boiled or steamed spears for a sensuous experience.
