Hello Entrepreneuress!
How about two "Bold and Classy Selling Tips" that brings you "Better results & Bigger Profits"?
Tip # 1 Asking Questions - Listen to the Answers
Asking questions is "Bold" and Listening to the Answers is "Classy"!
Ever ask a Question and then miss the answer because you were thinking about what to say next? It's a natural but costly mistake that we commonly make without realizing it!
Unfortunately the prospect feels it on a "sub conscience" level and knows we didn't really listen. Not being heard frustrates the prospect which makes selling much more difficult!
Active Listening means you really hear the prospect, truly understand their needs and put them at Ease! When the Prospect is at Ease, you can sell with Ease. Follow these steps to Develop your Listening Skills!
Stay in the moment and focus your attention on the prospect.
Listen with your ears, eyes and intuition. Allow yourself to connect emotionally.
Avoid thinking about what to say next. Trust yourself to have the answer.
It takes Practice to Strengthen and Master your Listening Skills. But, remember when you Actively Listen and really "Feel" the prospect's message behind their words then....Selling becomes a snap!
Tip # 2 - Sympathetic or Empathic: Do you know your Listening Style?
The difference between Sympathetic and Empathic listening is huge. Sympathetic listening is when you actually "take on" or "shoulder" the prospect's burdens or problems right along with them.
Sympathetic Listening means you followed the prospect into their world. Identifying too closely with the prospect, sharing their burden leaves you feeling Frustrated and Exhausted. It's not good for you or the prospect.
Empathic listening is a style in which you Trust your intuition. It's a way of being, not a tool or mechanical skill. Yes, you connect on an emotional level and feel what the prospect is saying But... you walk them... back into your world.
Empathic Listening means you do NOT take on the prospect's burden
You take yourself out of the equation & accept the message without judgment
Remain Genuine and use your own words while connecting with the prospect
Empathic Listening is more important than talking in both business and life in general. Staying in the moment, listening with your ears, eyes and emotions, lets the prospect know that you are interested in them and that you will Absolutely "be there" for them!
