We are now in 21st century and we are now doing all our work on internet. Almost any kind of work like talking with friends and relatives or sending any multimedia file is done through internet. Even if you are too far from your family or office you can contact them through internet. There are many ways on the internet too to contact your friends, family members or any office staff member. Sending files over the internet is nothing new now. You can send any sort of document or file over the internet to anybody in any part of the world.
But even on internet there are restrictions and other difficulties which do not allow us to send larger files. If you want to send any normal file whose size is not above 10 or 20 MB then you can easily send that file through internet but if you are having a large file whose size can be above 100 MB or 500 MB then it is not possible to send through email. The reason behind this is that many of the email service providers have limited storage space in their data center and because of which their data storage is limited. Apart from this, everyday people keep on registering on to their service and they get new users so they cannot provide facility to send larger files over the internet through their email service. Now if you want to send a large file and you know that you cannot send it through email then you must be searching for other alternative.
Well there are many other alternatives other than email to send large files over the internet. Many of us must have heard about websites who provide file sharing of larger files. Now most of these websites provide file sharing of files up to 100 MB if you are not registered and to share files more than 100 MB or 200 MB you will need to register and pay some registration fees. These websites provide extra features too apart from just sending larger files. The extra services are worthwhile to use and you will be satisfied by the registering into the website. But before registering, just plan out how much files you need to share each month and according to that you can but the plan. Some file sharing websites also offer email service so that you can send large files through their emails.
