The year 2009 saw the mobile phones technology rise to greater heights with handsets having wi-fi technology, QWERTY keypads, touch screen support, video blogging and calling technology by many leading brands such as Nokia mobiles, Samsung, and HTC. The connection providers such as Vodafone, Idea too made profit by offering these mobile phones with their company connections at fewer rates and giving attractive gifts and discounts coupons to win over their competitors.

Preference given to the handsets is not only their features but also the elegant look and style that the handset has. One can decide along with the connection, the handset they want to purchase.

The latest mobile phones launched in 2010, are offering the latest state of the art technology launched by companies such as Motorola, Microsoft, Toshiba, Sagem and Lumigon. The new mobile phones to launched this year include

Motorola Milestone: Motorola has announced the launch of its new handset Motorola Milestone; the handset will be available at a three-year contract. The powerful handset is loaded with features such as a 3.7 inch touch screen, 5 mega pixel camera, QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi and GPS technology plus a 3.5 mm jack for earphones to groove to your favorite tracks. The handset also supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE technology.

Lumigons Android: The latest mobile phones made by Danish phone maker Lumigon has two models S1 and T1 having a 800MHZ chip, GPS capability, FM receiver, WI-FI, 5 mega pixel camera with flash, video output of 720p on a HDMI output. The phone is made of stainless steel, aluminium and scratch free glass. The T1 model will be launched in Spring and the S1 will be launched in European countries.

Sagem and Puma Sports Phone: Puma and Sagem launched new mobile phones with a solar charger, 2.8 inch touch screen, display panel of 240*320 resolution, 3.2 mega pixel camera with a 6x zoom capability, FM tuner software, GPS sensitivity, Bluetooth technology.

Motorola Quench: Motorola introduced the latest touch screen mobile phone Motorola Quench. The new mobile phone launched features a 3.1 inch touchscreen with a 320*480 resolution, 5 mega pixel camera, QWERTY keypad, expandable memory unto 32GB, electronic compass, GPS, 3G technology, WI-FI, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm handset and runs on Android 1.5 operating system and google services. The phone be launched in USA.

Toshiba TG02 and K01: Toshiba launched the latest mobile phones with windows 6.5 operating system. The two models TG02 and K01 are loaded with features such as a 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHZ snapdragon processor, microSD memory expandable up to 32GB. The new TG02 feature a 3D user interface and the K01, a slider handset with a sliding keyboard has a AMOLED screen.

Microsoft Windows 7 Mobile: The new phone launched by Microsoft has Xbox games, Zune music and videos. The phone contains six windows based hubs such as people, pictures, games, music, office and marketplace. The phone will be available in holiday season.

Samsung Wave S8500: The upgraded phone in the line of latest mobile phones range of Samsung is the wave S8500 that has a 3.3-inch touchscreen, WI-FI, Divx player, 5-mega pixel camera with auto focus and flash, 2GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The phone also adores a 1GHZ snapdragon processor.
