Mid Florida Tech (MFT), located at Orlando , Florida provides a range of superior educational programs well complemented by extracurricular activities and organizational skills for the students. General Eligibility Criteria

For adult education the applicants must appear for the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) and should meet the requisite basic academic skills levels in mathematics, language and reading to qualify for the applied technology diploma. Applicants planning to enroll in Adult ESOL classes need to appear for the CASA testing before being placed in a class.
Courses and Student Services
Some of the student services offered in Mid Florida Tech includes Remedial Services Academic / Career Counseling and career placement. Some of the popular courses on offer include Fire Science/Fire-fighting, Construction Trades, Security and Loss Prevention Services, Electrician and Emergency Medical Technology among others.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships for many useful and job oriented courses like electrical and plumbing, air-conditioning, industrial pipefitting, heavy equipment operation and others are hugely popular among the students as these offer hands on experience and specialization in the subjects of their choice, enabling them to land on plum assignments. The Air-conditioning apprenticeship is of 5 years duration during which the students will be provided with advanced training in air conditioning technology.
Candidates should be of 18 years of age and be employed by an ACCA/CF member employer to enroll for these apprenticeship programs of Mid Florida Tech . The basic skills for this program include Mathematics 10.0, Language 9.0, and Reading 9.0. On successful completion the students can get wages $40,000 - $80,000 annually based on full employment.
