The visits will be more regular at first as the doctor determines if the prescribed drugs are working properly.
Counseling is inevitably part of the process when drugs are being used. Many people have deep rooted issues from the past that can be a contributing factor to the problems they have with panic attacks. Getting some help resolving these problems may help a person feel a lot of relief and regain the life that they once had before this all began
However it is not a foregone conclusion that emotional baggage is the root cause of the attacks.
