Natural remedies for treating UTI

Urinary tract infection is a painful disorder and it demands immediate medical intervention. The natural remedies of urinary tract infection are not purely an alternative medical treatment; these are like first-aid remedies and have to be supported with antibiotics and other medication, in order to facilitate quick recovery. The natural remedies are safe and are prepared with easily available ingredients.
The immediate utility of natural remedies is that these remedies can reduce the intensity of bothering symptoms with immediate effect; hence, these are good for treating patients suffering from UTI.
Baking soda is an effective ingredient that can be used for treatment of urinary tract infection. The patient suffering from urinary tract infection is advised to drink water mixed with baking soda frequently. [In 8 oz water ½ teaspoon baking soda is to be mixed]
Intake of plenty of water and liquid fruit juice helps in alleviating the burning discomfort in vaginal area. With plenty of water intake urine output is more and frequent urination flushes away the toxins from the urinary tract.
Consumption of cranberry juice is another efficient natural remedy that can help in the treatment of urinary tract infection. Those who cannot take cranberry juice because of its sharp taste may blend apple juice in it to make it tasty.
The UTI patients should consume decoction of blue brinjal leaves two times in a day. The quantity of decoction should be not less than one ounce. Alternatively consumption of cold decoction prepared by mixing coriander seeds with boiled water is an effective remedy for urinary tract infection. This natural remedy increases urine output as well.
Herbal decoction can be made by mixing lotus petal and pink rose petals in boiled water. This petal treated water is to be consumed three times a day, one ounce each time.
Herbal mixture can be prepared by mixing tea tree, bergamot, frankincense, and juniper oil together. This herbal mix oil should be massaged externally on lower abdomen as long as the symptoms of UTI persist.
Decoction of carrot seeds are excellent natural remedy for the treatment of urinary tract infection. The patients of UTI should have it two times a day till the infection is cured.
