Starting up a CPA business, and choosing to be an affiliate instead of selling your own product is actually a great idea. You save a lot on inventory, testing, copywriting, and to be really honest, you will learn a lot about marketing during the course of becoming a CPA super affiliate. But if you heard about people making hundreds of thousands of dollars on CPA, you might be mislead. The truth is that those people are the ones you cannot compete with, because they have hundreds of dollars daily to "throw in" testing different CPA affiliate products.

But you can make a really good living from CPA, it all depends on your positioning and determination. Today I am going to cover some free methods to drive traffic legally to CPA offers, which will result in sales. Remember: If you are just starting up, the worst thing you can do is put offer after offer on PPC advertising, (obviously unless you are a PPC genius) and after losing a couple of hundred dollars, giving up. I personally always test every offer on free traffic, and it proves itself extremely well converting, I move on to paid advertising. Therefore I avoid losing money in the beginning.

Once you managed to get accepted with one or two CPA networks, you can get going choosing the right CPA campaigns. You can do it by checking the campaign's keywords on Google Trends, Ebay, Amazon, to see how popular the topic is. Or you can always get the network EPC (earnings per click) from the site or from your affiliate manager. The higher the EPC the better, and the hottest the topic even better.

Once you have chosen your offer, you can do loads of things to generate free targeted traffic to your site.

1.Article Marketing

Research the keywords and choose the ones that had the most searches compared to the

results.

For example you can have a keyword with 4000 searches daily but 450.000 results. That

keyword is too competitive, and it is hard, although not impossible to rank on Pg 1. Although if you find a search term that has 2000 searches a day and only 39.000 results, that's much more likely to bring in money for your offer.

Write a quality original (not bought, PLR, rewritten) article around this keyword, and include your affiliate link in the resource box. The more relevant the offer is to the article, the better conversion you will get. Remember: you have to be original, current and creative so that your article gets picked up by readers. Submit this article to as many directories as possible and watch the traffic flooding your affiliate site.

2.Blogging

If you set up a wordpress or blogger blog on the topic and set up the tags of keywords, update it regularly (you can actually republish your articles here, too) you will soon get regular generic searches landing on your page. Alternatively you can also visit other people's blogs first of all to see what are the hot topics, get ideas (don't steal), and you can also comment on other people's blogs. Not spam them, sharing your knowledge, giving advice or suggesting a new topic will do.

3.Forums

Find relevant blogs with high page rank, and contribute. Most blogs let you include a link in your signature, that will show up every time you make a comment. The rule here is again: don't spam the forum, make the effort to give value and be helpful. Not long before some people will check you out.

4.Social bookmarking

Go Viral! There's nothing better than when your affiliate links go viral! Submit a video on the main video sharing sites and do social bookmarking. Social bookmark all your articles, your blog's pages and if permitted, the ads you placed on other sites. Again, when choosing the headline make sure you do your keyword research first. The best social bookmarking strategies are the ones that relate to some current event, that gets loads of searches. It can be a sports event, the Oscar, the latest TV show or any popular topic relating to your offer.
