Do you follow your bliss?

Are you living a life of passion?

Are you barely sleeping at night because you're so excited?

"When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else."

Joseph Campbell

Live Your Own Truth Only you know what brings you joy! Other people will attempt to guide you in a certain direction, or even blatantly pushing you a certain way. Maybe your parents wanted you to be a doctor, teacher or lawyer but you decided that you were going to open a coffee shop and bakery in a resort town.

Living your own truth means getting clear about what brings you joy. I remember when I graduated from college with a degree in education my mom decided that I was going to go live with my grandmother and teach in a local school.

Well, I had to live my own truth. I had to follow my bliss! I decided that even though I was born and raised in Ohio that I wanted to experience life in other parts of the country. So, I moved to Texas! Yes, finding my bliss!

Take a Stand For Passion. I always chose my heart over my head. Yes, my head gives my logical reasons as to why or why not I should do something. It tells me not to eat late at night and to watch people backing up in parking lots...you know, the logical stuff that fills our brains.

I'm talking about the ideas and thoughts you get, the internal nudges to "go for it" when the odds or circumstances seem against you. Now, that's following your heart!

When I was moving to Texas, quite a few of my friends and family said things like, "I don't think you'll like the heat. You'll be back. Why would you want to move there?" The naysayers will always show up when you voice your plans!

If you can do one thing in your life that will make the biggest change it is this...Today stare down the naysayers and move toward your goal!

Let Go of Fear of Failure. When you follow your bliss, you deserve to let go of worrying about if you will be successful or if you will fail.

Law of Attraction As the Law of Attraction says, whatever you focus your energy and attention on, you will attract more of the same. Focus on success. Focus on how you will feel when you are doing what you love to do! Let go of thoughts of failure, or worrying about failure. Worrying is just planning to fail. Stop yourself when you start heading down that road!

Live In Gratitude. By living in gratitude, you are aligning with positive energy that is attracting more incredible things to you. Be thankful of what you have right now!

Today is the day to follow your bliss!
