Tourism and hospitality is an industry which helps in keeping alive the traditional values of the country. Customer relations Executive:

These are the persons responsible for giving high- profile services to the customers of the hotel they are associated with. Customers are the biggest factor who needs to be satisfied in every manner related to the arena of services provided by the hotel.

Chef:

Food is the traditional symbol of a country, which helps in maintaining the aesthetic value of the area, so the personnel doing job in the food department of the hotel or the restaurant needs to keep in mind the traditional tastes of the society and should contribute in promoting the culture of the country. Students with hotel management degrees can apply for these jobs.

Hotel Managers

Hotel manager is a very important position, and the person handling the responsibility is said to be the most efficient and senior person in the hotel, he is deeply involved in all the activities of the hotel. The job involves a lot of hard- work and intelligence and the ability to handle the clients impressively are must. Candidates with MBA degree are preferred for managerial jobs in hotel.

House Keeping department:

This department is responsible for all the hospitality services of the office, with the main focus on stuffs like room cleaning, room service, and all the small- small needs of the guests to make them feel home.

Front Office job:

This job makes the person accountable for all the front desk activities of the hotel, he is in most cases the first person to entertain the guests and introduce them with facilities of the hotel.

Other than these opportunities, the requirements and posts differ in accordance to the hotel or restaurants. Candidates applying for jobs in hotels and restaurants are mostly demanded with degrees in Hotel management or MBA.
