Designing or physical appearance has become the most important part these days. People are more concerned about the structural appearance of the products they use, the clothes they wear, the food they eat, or most importantly the house, they live in. Humans are also very finicky about their physical appearance, that too varies according to the atmosphere or environment they are in, at a particular moment. Making the structure of anything, whether it’s a techno product, cloth, or even a building is the basic step towards the existence of that commodity.
The designing of the house, buildings, offices, malls, sports complex, etc is a very creative job, the students aiming to pursue career in architecture needs to be very observant and analytical. He must understand the concept of balancing and proportion the combinations in terms of colours or designs or structures must be understood well by the student. Like a fashion designer converts the designs of his dream into reality by producing different variety of designer cloths, same ways, architecture implements his ideology in the form of buildings and houses. This career field has been famous among students since long to give life to their creativity.
A student with non- medical sciences as his subjects in his senior secondary education can apply for bachelors in architecture, a five year course, is available in various colleges across the country. An entrance test is conducted by the Council of Architecture on All India level, basis on which admissions is provided to students in the engineering colleges. Students aiming for higher education can also apply for PG in architecture which for around two years. Some of the colleges providing architecture courses in India are:

Students with the following qualities can aim to pursue a career in architecture:
Creative thinking, with an ability to convert his ideas into practicality
Interest in designing and sketching, so that he is able to draw influential designs to express his ideas
Good communication skills, both in writing as well as speaking, to be able to explain to the clients in a proper manner with a proper presentation of the same
Should posses a high quality of strength both mentally as well as physically to handle the desk as well as on- site pressures
Should be a n avid learner and an great scholar in the field of physics and mathematics to deal with the structural combinations of the designs
Should have good understanding and perception power, to understand the view point of the other person
Must be a hard worker and posses the ability to work in the team, team spirit is very important for any form of work assignment, a quality to move with the team and allow other team members to grow is a very important asset of any person to grow in his career
Should have patience and great concentration levels to be able to work in time limits and deadlines
The various specialisations which a student can opt for, as aprt of his architectural career are:
• Building engineering and management
• Urban development
• Landscape architecture
• Regional planning
• Industrial design
• Architectural activities related to traffic and transport planning
The career opportunities for architectures have always been bright and with the growth of the economy and the real estate market, the demand of the architectures and engineers is everlasting.
