There is also some direct word from Google that they do not like some of the automated systems that are used, so many people tend to stay away from them altogether.

This is important because you only want to rank for keywords that your target market can relate to. Also, if you write web content around a group of keywords that have the same theme or target, you can greatly improve the overall ranking and performance of that website within Google.

Sometimes it is pretty easy to get overwhelmed by all the tips and tutorials you find on different sites that assist individuals and companies with their development. You don't have to implement all the strategies possible overnight, it is essential to prioritize and make improvements progressively.

To start, there are hundreds of search engines with seven of them being major players of which just three are actually searched in any significant way. Only Google, Yahoo and MSN will find your site through the process of crawling links from other sites. What's more, by simply submitting your site it will not mean that it enters the index or is updated quicker.

Submit your article to as many directories as you have the time. Before you do, type your article name, in quotes, into the big search engines. Create a title for your article that no one else has used before so that there are 'no results' when you type the title in. That way you can track the propagation of your article. Every week or so, type in the name of your article and the search engine will tell you how many sites are hosting it.

Now, there's nothing wrong with replicated websites. There are benefits of having large numbers of people promoting the same site. It helps brand the company image and when people come across the same website over and over again, it creates familiarity. It's just that replicated website are simply NOT very search-engine-friendly.
