The main cause for the throat cancer is found as the usage of tobacco. The consumption of the tobacco in any form leads to throat cancer.

If the lump persisted for more than a week then it must be consulted with a specialist. Though all the lumps are not cancer, the lump in the nose is the first stage for a throat cancer. The lump is the main symptom in the case of the thyroid gland cancer. Though the lumps are not painless, they tend to enlarge and result in the throat cancer.
