It is a familiar will get acne in their teenage days. Many others will become familiar with acne in their grown-up days as well. So what is it that causes acne? Pimples themselves originate from bursting of oil ducts, which results in reddishness and swelling. Although there are numerous reasons for acne, the following are the three principal factors that will cause it. There is no particular reason to how acne is originated, but it is believed by doctors that many factors contribute to it. One of the most important factors is an increase in male sex hormones. During puberty more and more hormones are secreted.
These hormones; androgens in particular, multiply in both males and females, and increase oil production in the skin ducts. This is what causes acne. Hereditaryalso are a vital role in having) future acne problems. If a parent has acne problems; it is more likely that their {children will have acne as well. This has been proven through research. If you are vulnerable to acne, the ducts in the skin tend to get bigger and produce more oil, causing the ducts to become plugged. This then leads to the formation of blackheads or whiteheads due to the oil contamination. This in turn becomes the breeding place for germs and causes negative effects and damages the skin to a great extent, thus resulting in the black and white heads.
Some other factors that can promote acne include friction caused on the skin due to various factors such as wearing helmets, hats, etc. Exposure of skin to pollution is also a large factor which is harsh on the skin and results in breaking down of the skin leaving it open to acne attacks. Acne can be aggravated due to harsh rubbing, which leads to breakage of pimples and blemishes. It is a must to take proper care of the skin. Failing to do so will many times result in severe acne problems. It is advisable to follow certain procedures in order to prevent acute acne. Pinching or piercing pimples should be avoided as it can cause breakage of oil ducts which affects the nearby areas in your skin and often causes more and more pimples. Items such as jewelry, headbands, or heavy makeup, are tough on the skin and causes rashes, so should be avoided. They may cause irritation, redness and swelling. If you are using any cosmetic cream and ointments, care should be taken that they do not block the oil ducts in the skin. If these ducts become blocked due to some harmful chemicals, thats when the skin gets irritated.
While taking any medication which affects the hormonal cycle, care should be taken too, as this may aggravate the acne. Stress and tension are also large contributors to acne related problems. Acne is not contagious. It will not spread if you touch someone who has acne. Acne is not only caused by food habits, but is related to our lifestyle in general. Its a combined result of our lifestyle. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help you to avoid acne. I personally have my own success story with a very top secret natural method I purchased.
