Just thinking about Florida, conjures up images of beautiful, pristine beaches, palm trees, and walking barefoot in the sand. While no two people can probably agree on which Florida beach is the best, here are the ones that make our list, of the over 220 beaches on Florida's Atlantic Coast. Amelia Island State Park

Amelia Island State Park is a short drive from Jacksonville, and occupies the southern tip of Amelia Island. It is the only state park in Florida to offer horseback riding on the beach. This beach offers tremendous scenery, great surf fishing, beautiful beaches, and maritime forests. Located near Jacksonville, Florida.

Anastasia State Park

Anastasia State Park has four miles of pristine, white sandy beach. Popular activities at Anastasia include camping, fishing, swimming, beachcombing, hiking, bird watching, canoeing and kayaking. A full-facility campground is located in a wooded area close to the beach. A camp store and rental shop is available in case you forgot anything at home, and their grill offers a tasty food selection. Located near St. Augustine, Florida.

Canaveral National Seashore

Situated on a barrier island along Florida's east coast, Canaveral National Seashore offers 24 miles of beautiful beaches. Year-round recreational activities include sunbathing, swimming, fishing, surfing, boating, canoeing, camping, and hiking. Located between New Smyrna Beach and Titusville, Florida.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

Voted one of the top 10 beaches in the United States, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is home to a historic lighthouse built in 1825. Lighthouse tours are available and the view of the beach from here is spectacular. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or relax and enjoy a picnic. Fishing, biking, and kayaking are other popular activities at Cape Florida. Located near Key Biscayne, Florida.
