Your doctor will know what is best for your body and what is best to cure your yeast infection. Do not try over the counter products without consulting your doctor first. If you plan to use the product then gather some vital information like-
-
What is dosage for a single use?
-
When and how is it to be inserted?
-
How long does the treatment have to be continued?
Once you have all the information you need tell your doctor about it. Your doctor is the judge and their decision has to be final. Follow her/his advice and decide on whether the product should be used or not?
Do not use any yeast infection medication even after the prescribed time of usage. If the symptom of yeast infection is not cured your doctor will give you some other medicines or a combination of medicines to cure the infection. Listen to your doctor and take the medication prescribed by them on a regular basis.
An infection can be cured with medicines but any internal damage caused by over the counter medications will not be cured immediately. Be careful and don’t experiment on your body. Any medicine whether it has to be taken orally, applied on the skin or has to be inserted within the body must be shown to a doctor first before trying it out.
A lot of medicines like Monistat are available to cure yeast infection. If you are pregnant or are lactating, it is strictly advised not to use any of these products.
