  1. Village of North Rustico/Resort Municipality Yard Sale

May 29 - Hidden treasures await you in Cavendish, PEI! This impressive yard sale involves the entire community. This spring event has been known to unearth more than one special PEI treasure.

  1. Marco Polo Land presents Country Jamboree

June 18-19 - Island country music favorites, including 2010 PEI Music Award nominee and 2010 ECMA double showcase artist, Johnny Oliver and Band, take the stage for a weekend of fun country festivities. Weekend show tickets are only $30.

  1. Indian River Music Festival

June 27-September 22 - A June-September celebration of music! The Indian River Music Festival* is held near Kensington at St. Mary's Church. The 2010 lineup is unbelievable in the scope and variety of talent. (View the entire roster of talent at the end of this article).

  1. Canada Day Celebrations

July 1 - Everyone celebrates Canada Day! Prince Edward Island's Canada Day fireworks light up the night sky. Head to North Rustico for a parade, fireworks, and tons of fun entertainment and activities.

  1. Cavendish Beach Music Festival

July 7-11 - PEI's big ticket music festival of the summer! Superstar acts for Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2010 include Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and, Emerson Drive. A rockin' party in "The Kitchen," five days of super fun for the whole family, and an entire week of excellent local and international music! Enjoy some good times and 'classic' moments with out-of-this-world entertainment and - thanks to the PEI International Motoring Festival Organization - a classic car and motorcycle show.

  1. Canada's Seashore Festival

July 17-18 - Canada's Seashore Festival, a colorful family-oriented festival, is held on the shores around Cavendish. Have fun at the seashore with children's activities, tales of the sea with the Bearded Skipper, the 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Race, and other seaside festivities.

  1. 3rd Annual Anne of Green Gables Children's Festival

August 21-22 - This two-day celebration is held at the home of one of PEI's most famous characters - Anne Shirley - the lovable red-haired girl from the acclaimed novel - Anne of Green Gables. This children's festival celebrates 'Anne' and her creator - PEI author - Lucy Maud Montgomery.

  1. Stanley Bridge River Days Festival

August 27-29 - This fun and informative eco-tourism festival in Stanley Head hopes to raise awareness of the local watershed. This entertaining festival features live music, boat parade of lights and bridge lighting, teddy bear picnic, and a farmer's market, as well as a brunch and ceilidh.

  1. Picnic at Cavendish Grove, PEI National Park

September 26 - Savor a taste or two of PEI flavor! Enjoy a gourmet picnic prepared by some of PEI's culinary masters. Tourists and locals 'meet and greet' in the picturesque setting of the PEI National Day Park. Visitors can go on the Tasting Trails Walk, explore a farmer's market, or just relax and take in the entertainment.

  1. Fall Flavors - Island-Wide Fine Food Festival

September 3-30 - This exceptional food and wine festival celebrates authentic Prince Edward Island tastes and traditions. Visitors can enjoy the food, learn a new recipe, or attend food workshops such as the Cheese Lovers Paradise or Morning with a Chef. Although most of the events take place in Charlottetown, related activities will take place across the island during the festival.
