SUMMARY

Tourists will find 'Anne of Green Gables' on the Green Gables Shore. Yet visitors will also find 'much more' on this scenic PEI shore. Discover the many 'places to go' on the Green Gables Shore.

'Places To Go' on Green Gables Shore PEI

The Green Gables Shore is situated in Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, but this picturesque area is 'big' on entertainment. The rolling, green hills and the spectacular PEI sunsets are awe-inspiring and no man-made attractions can compete with these wonders of nature. Camping under countless stars or taking a romantic stroll on a deserted beach are the moments in time which become unforgettable memories.

The white sand beaches of Brackley Beach and the PEI National Park, as well the shore's picnic and paddling spots, offer fun and relaxation in a 'clean and green' environment. Visitors can cuddle up in front of a drive-in theatre, listen to great music during the summer-long Indian River Music Festival, or spend a day at one of the many world-class championship golf courses. Of course, Green Gables attracts golfers and 'Anne of Green Gables' fans.

The Green Gables Shore celebrates 'everything Anne' with family attractions and Anne-related activities. This lovely PEI region honors Lucy Maud Montgomery, the author of "Anne of Green Gables." The area's museums, as well as its cultural and historic sites, serve as reminders about the worldwide influence of this famous novel inspired by the Green Gables Shore.
