If you’re trying to build muscle and lose fat, which is pretty much everyone, then you need to make sure to get the right amount of protein in everyday. For people with busy lives, this can be difficult, especially if you’re trying to get in the amount of protein necessary to build strong, healthy muscle. Fortunately, whey crisps are an easy way to get more protein with every meal.

You’re probably familiar with whey, one of the most effective and popular forms of protein in the world, but the chances are good that you haven’t heard about whey crisps. Whey is a milk based protein that has high bioavailability, and can be flavored to avoid the nasty protein aftertaste, in addition to the health benefits that whey provides.

The thing about whey is that the only way to consume it until now was to mix it into a protein drink or a smoothy. Which is fine, but there are only so many shakes a person can consume in any one day, so it would be nice to have a convenient way to get more protein without even knowing it. Which is exactly what whey crisps allow you to do.

Whey crisps are, essentially, small crunchy balls of whey that have no particular flavor. Think of something like Grape Nuts cereal, but a little less hard on the jaws and a lot better for your health. In short, they’re an easy way to add more whey and more protein with your diet, because you can add them to just about anything.

You can actually eat them all by themselves, if you have a craving for something crunchy, but their best use is to add something that you’re already eating. You can throw them into your morning oatmeal or your morning cereal. You can dump them into pudding, or you chuck them in the soup you’re having for lunch. They’re pretty much flavorless, so they go well with just about anything.

If you really want to get creative with them, you can put knead them in the ground beef you use for your hamburgers. You could add them to muffins or biscuits before you bake. They can even be a substitute for croutons as something to put on your salad to give it some crunch without all the carbs. You can also carry with them and add them to restaurant meals, guaranteeing that even when your diet deviates unexpectedly, you’re still getting the protein you need.

The way to use these whey crisps is to add them to whatever you can, whenever you can. It doesn’t have to be a huge amount of whey crisps, either. What you’re aiming for is to provide your body with a steady stream of protein through the day. By using whey crisps as an addition to all your meals, you can easily add twenty or even fifty grams of protein to you diet without having to eat and drink a ton more than you do now.
