If your goal really is to lose weight and you are dead set on it, then you will! You should never count any failed attempts at losing weight as actual failures. If instead you learn from those experiences and keep working on it I guarantee that you WILL lose the weight. All you need is that never give-up mentality, along with the right tools and you'll begin to enjoy the process of losing weight.

One of the ways that you'll be most successful and reach your weight loss goals faster is using the magic word "consistency." Only by doing small things every day no matter what will you see real results.

If you are like most people and decide that you need to go all out for 2 weeks, it's just not going to happen. So instead of changing everything in your life that may be unhealthy all at once, your goal instead should be to:

  1. Keep trying different exercise routines until you find one that you enjoy AND will produce the results you are after (eventually). You need to love your exercise because you should want to go do it on your workout days.

  2. Same goes for eating healthy. You need something you can live with. If you aren't willing to change how you eat for the rest of your life, why bother in the first place? And the only way you'll stick with something is if you enjoy the foods you are eating.

  3. Don't let it get monotonous! If you start getting bored by doing the exact same thing every day, learn some new exercises or healthy meals and incorporate those into your plan. Losing weight shouldn't be boring!

Only when you make the decision that you're going to lose weight no matter what, will you finally get rid of it for good. If you're not dedicated you'll give up too soon and never get the results you're after.
