Anxiety Hypnosis for Various Anxiety Disorders
You've probably heard that anxiety hypnosis is a good way to deal with anxiety disorders. What you may not be aware of is that there are many different types of anxiety disorders, and anxiety can show itself in many different ways. I've discussed a few different disorders in this article, all of which can be treated using hypnosis.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by a endless stress and worry about everyday things. People can become immensely concerned about family, money, health, work and other issues. Sometimes the mere thought of getting out of bed causes anxiety. Although the worry seems trivial, it can be difficult for people to stop.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) This is a condition that occurs in people who have witnessed or experienced sudden death of a loved one, terrorist incident, a natural disaster, serious accident, war, violent personal assault, or other life threatening events. Most of the time, those who experience things of this nature recover from the distress that comes with them, but people with PTSD will be depressed and anxious for months or sometimes years to follow.
Social Anxiety Disorder This is the fear of being scrutinized and analyzed by others in a performance type or social setting. People with social Anxiety Disorder may feel very alone. The anxiety can interfere with social interactions, day to day routines or job performance which can make it hard to successfully complete school, have romantic relationships or friendships or even hold a job.
Panic Disorder/Panic Attacks This is a category of people that have spontaneous, out of the blue attacks of panic and become obsessed with the idea of a recurring attack.
Phobias Things like certain animals, new places, heights, small places, are things that can make people feel a bit nervous. But people with these phobias feel intensely frightened and powerless to control their fear, even if it doesn't make any sense to anyone else.
Anxiety hypnosis is a excellent way to help treat any of these disorders. Hypnosis helps patients to relax and also to uncover past feelings to possibly help them realize why they may be suffering from the specific anxiety. Please keep in mind that if you do use anxiety hypnosis, make sure that you visit a certified hypnotherapist.
