If you are searching for answers of how to confront your cheating husband it is assumed that you know they are being unfaithful. You may not have caught them in the act, but you are sure enough to know that this must be dealt with soon.

When men cheat on wives they must be confronted methodically, but without haste. Confronting a cheater has to be done in the right way. You must be fairly sure they are cheating. If you are wrong and they have been faithful right along the tables will turn. It would be your husband who is upset and distrustful of you. There is no sense in making matters worse at a time like this.

Location

When you confront your spouse make sure it is in a safe place. By safe I mean no outside influences. A public restaurant would not be a good setting. You will probably end up storming in and shouting your head off. This will only make you look ridiculous and that is not what you want.

A safe place also means somewhere your spouse will not get too defensive. At home they will still become defensive, but not like in a public setting. Trying to catch him with the other women is not advised either. This is going to cause obvious tension and aggression.

With too many people around neither of you will be thinking clearly. At that point you may both start arguing fiercely to try to save your reputation in public. Avoid this at all costs as it just makes things worse.

Do Not Accuse

Even if you are almost positive he cheated do not accuse him of it. Unless you caught them in the act you do not know for sure and your partner deserves the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty. Even when men cheat on wives they automatically get defensive when accused of it for obvious reasons. Defense mechanisms make us put up barriers to protect ourselves in times of verbal attack. This is not going to help at all.

Rather than blame them for what you believe they did, explain to them how you have been feeling. State the facts. If they seem distant tell him that his behavior is bothering you. If he is always gone late with lame excuses explain that it is making you suspicious.

"I am worried about us" or "I do not feel like you want to be with me anymore" will work better then "I know what you did" or "tell me who she is".

Its all about how you say things. As far as filling in the blanks on what to say you can figure that out. You know your spouse and you know your relationship.

Be firm and honest about what is troubling you, but try to be respectful for best results. It may seem counter intuitive, but it is how to get results and keep your dignity. If you have seen the television show "Cheaters" you know what not to do.

This is how to confront a cheater the right way. If they were being faithful the whole time at least they will understand your concern and try to remedy the situation. If he gets defensive and continues to disregard your feelings then he was probably cheating right along. That would be your hard evidence.

When men cheat on wives they will typically continue the affair until they are caught or confronted. Make sure to go in with a cool head, but if you have hard suspicions that he is seeing someone else you must react to put an end to the infidelity.
