Happy Holidays... Harvest Seasons! Halloween. Happy Thanksgiving...
Hanukkah, Christmas.... all of them! I’m Coach Roz, and I lost 90 pounds
and have maintain this weight loss for over EIGHT years. I’ve been
successful, because I didn’t focus on just losing weight, I figured out how
to maintain that weight loss. Now I help others learn to do the same thing

This is the most festive time of year. Exciting, stressful, fun. And for
people already overweight, this is a disastrous time of the year,too. I
know, because for 15 years I gained and lost the same 20, 40, 50 pounds over
and over and over again, until I ballooned to 232 pounds. I’m just
5’0", so that means I was super chubby and I was a yo-yo dieter.
But, since 2002, I’ve maintained a 90 pound weight loss. That means I’ve
managed my weight through several bags of Halloween candy, plates of
Thanksgiving turkey dinners, and cans of Christmas cookie.
But for you, this whole time of the year is challenging, because stores give
samples, friends throw parties and the family wants all their favorites. We
understand. That’s why I’m going to share with you the top 7 tips for
preventing the typical 10 pound weight gain this year and a fool-proof
strategy for making it happen.
But first, you have to believe, because what you believe you achieve. Say
"NO MORE! NOT THIS TIME! No excuses... No limits... No more beating
myself up and beating myself down. Instead, I’m going to take success
actions each day that add up and make a positive difference in my life"

Move more
You don’t give or keep food gifts
No BLTs - bites, licks, taste
Eat five cups vegetables and fruit most days of the week
Eat before going out
Drink more water, less high calorie treats
Sleep more

This tips will make a real difference in your weight loss and weight
management through the holiday for 3 reasons.
One, the 7 top tips are simple. When you have simple rules to follow, you
are more inclined to follow them. With all that’s going on right now, do

implement.

now you know 1-way doesn’t fit all and doesn’t work in the long run. To
be healthier through this holiday we need to an approach that brings together
a little exercise, a little food calculating and a little mental/emotional

Three, the 7 top tips are not unbearably harsh. Following them will NOT
leave you more frustrated and less encouraged. There’s something so right
about being required to "sleep more" to stay in shape this year (lol).
