So, it's the end of the relationship, or so you thought since your ex stepped out of your house. You are left all alone on that exact spot where he utter the words "this is over!" to you. That blow was so hard that it hurts and stunned you at the same time. You wonder if you can take away the pain and heal from a break up as easily as what they shown in movies.
Well, you definitely can heal from a break up. It is difficult when you don't know where to start or what to do, but with some guidance and ideas, you can work on these methods and soon will find yourself feeling better and moving forward.
Change of environment
If you can't bear the house, the neighborhood and the whole place you are at, then I'd suggest you move. Buy a ticket to some place you want to go to feel better. Don't rush into things or you will find yourself breaking down from the messy arrangements as well. Book the place, set the date, pack your things and get there. Perhaps a cosy little house at the beach, your friend from the next town, a trip to the country you want to visit or a retreat holiday to get your mind off your break up.
Counseling
Go make an appointment with a relationship coach or any sorts of counseling to get someone to talk to you about it. Perhaps its a close friend, family member or just someone you can confess at your church. There are even hotlines you can call to help yourself talk through things and let your feelings out.
Journal-ing
Writing makes it easier if you don't want to let anyone know. Writing helps in many ways. People use writing to express suppressed feelings inside them You will be surprised when you just keep writing and be open to yourself through journal-ing where you will uncover the deepest buried feelings and thoughts you never thought you have. From this, you can analyze yourself, your behavior and understand yourself better. You will be able to see your own flaws, mistakes and learn from it.
These 3 methods are way that you can help regain the lost confidence and trust in love. You have emotional wounds and these are what you need to help you heal. You need to heal your wounds or you will not feel strong enough to move on.
