If you are getting married, you obviously will love the ceremony. However, one part you'll soon discover will be a treasured one is when the wedding guests give you a grand sendoff as you ride to your honeymoon destination for the first time as husband and wife. Such a grand occasion deserves a special send-off. There are many different ways to make the close of your reception special.

One of the more popular and practical things that have been done are wedding bubbles. Creating a beautiful effect for your wedding pictures, having guests blow tiny bubbles your way allows you to leave the reception is a "cloud" of whimsy. This is just one sendoff that you can have. There are others as well.

If you're more traditional, you may opt to have guests throw rice at the end of the reception. However, many brides are choosing rice alternatives, like biodegradable confetti, streamers or birdseed as a more eco-friendly option that also protects our wildlife.

In addition to bubbles and confetti or birdseed, another option is to use balloons. Floating in the air on the wings of your love, multicolored balloons in your wedding colors will make a brilliant getaway. You can also ask the party guests to tie a wish to the balloon for the couple. When the couple leaves the reception to start their honeymoon, all of the balloons would then be released into the air. It's a wonderful representation of them sending their blessings for you to the heavens.

Then, there are some who take a different approach. Creating the excitement of a 4th of July parade, some couples have guests line the path with sparklers, which is a lovely addition to evening weddings. But, you don't have to stop with the sparklers. Create a full fireworks display to start your new life with a bang!

Since we're talking about creating a bang, noise makers are also a good idea. Clappers, party horns, bugles and the like might sound annoying to those around, but think about it, the whole neighborhood will know that they are wishing you well. That is what you really want after all. You want people to have a big celebration when they get to send you off.

These are all ideas that people have used at their weddings to make their departure more delightful. When considering the right one for you, consider the number of guests involved, the cost of the items and the clean up that may be required. But, no matter which one you choose, your sendoff will surely be spectacular.
