Getting married is supposedly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Pre-Wedding activities, such as the bridal shower, bachelorette party, girls night out and other events, are just as special. Bachelorette parties can be made special with a bit of planning and some perfectly themed party favors. As the maid of honor it is your responsibility to make sure that the bride remembers this evening for the rest of her life.
A bachelorette party should be treated much like a girls' night out. Stick to inviting the inner circle. The inner circle means the closest friends of the bride. This will allow her to be more comfortable and allow her to have fun; it is her night, not the bridesmaids' night.
Once the guest list is planned out perfectly, it is time to consider where girls' night out will take place. Ask the bride what her favorite places are. Does she like clubs or bars? This can mean the difference in the bride’s ability to have fun. Have all of the activities planned long in advance. Choose a hotel room close to the scene of where the activities will take place and then think about dinner and where the ladies will want to spend the rest of the evening. Dancing and shopping are two of the most popular things to do at bachelorette parties and girls' night out.
Spending time in a hotel room just before leaving makes for great bonding time between all the ladies. To kick off the evening, break out the party favors just before you leave for girls' night out. The party favors can bring everyone closer. Allowing the ladies to bond and play with the party favors allows a certain amount of time to allow all the ladies to get to know each other, which is important to the brides evening.
Once the evening gets on the road, the favors are used for play and conversation starters as well as many laughs. Again this is helpful in the bonding of the ladies. It is everyone’s responsibility to help the bride have the best night of her life. A closer group is the best way to make sure the bride is happy. So long as the ladies get along, regardless of where the party takes your group on girls night out, it would be a success. A successful bachelorette party will make any bride happy.
