Are you the cute guy that women always see as 'the friend'? That sucks doesn't it? The problem is you, obviously, but it has nothing to do with the usual things you think it does like looks or how long you have known them. It actually has more to do with your approach, attitude, and confidence level. That's it.
Your approach has to get her to see you as someone who she wants to be with in that way. Women pick their potential lovers by using many different methods. The appearance, the way he makes her feel, how he grooms himself, his confidence level, if he understands her, and much more. Sometimes just a tiny shift in how you dress, talk, or even the cologne you wear can change a woman's mind about how attracted she is to you.
You've seen the movies where the woman didn't notice the man until he came to the party with a new look and swagger about him, and those story lines are absolutely true. She may associate your new cologne with a sexy moment she remembers from years before - and that will mean that she will start to associate you with the feeling of 'sexy'. Smells and memory affect a woman's feelings in a huge way. So never underestimate a small change in your approach to her because it may be the one that affects her positively and benefits you.
Your attitude is another one of those triggers that make women melt or just make them want to befriend you. For instance, if you are a guy who has all the personality in the world but doesn't offer much in the way of romance or knowledge of women, then you may be more of the friend guy in her eyes. But if you have a sense of humor and offer a woman a place to feel protected, understood, and loved, then you may fit more into the role of a romantic partner.
So you may want to work on offering women an attitude they are looking for. Most women like a man who is positive, kind, compassionate, understanding, protective, and goal-orientated.
And of course you have to display the ever important confidence in yourself! If you are unsure of everything you say to her and do around her then that unease will shine through everything you say and do. This is not sexy nor attractive to a woman. You will quickly secure your spot in the friend zone with this level of confidence.
But if you are sure of yourself and your ability to please her then that also will shine through in everything you say and do. She will see you as a guy who can benefit her in many ways, and that's attractive. The great thing is you can go from having low self-confidence to high self-confidence with a little knowledge and practice! So find your confidence and women will notice it instantly!
