You find out that you are going to be a mother and you could not be happier. But what happens to your body as it is going through the motions and changes. A lot of different problems can occur that you never had problems with before. Your body is adjusting to the weight of the baby and growing with them. DHA is an essential fatty acid needed for baby to fully develop their brain. This is also used by mom-to-be for joint maintenance. When this fatty acid is lessened in the body you can sometimes have problems with joints, muscles, and otherwise aches and pains. There are supplements that you can take, and there are also some proactive steps into being happy, healthy, and pain free.

Yoga - A great all around way to being a happy mommy. This allows you to stay fluid and flexible during your pregnancy. Also another huge benefit is breathing. Yoga is all about breathing and calming so this will help you when it is time for the delivery room. By properly learning to breathe and stay calm then your delivery will be much less hectic.

Massage - We could all use one of these from time to time. This allows you to relax and calm your muscles and joints. It is a very refreshing way to start or end the day. You will feel your entire body starting to bloom out, and this will help with the fast stretching muscles. A massage is a good maintenance throughout your entire pregnancy.

Posture - We all should learn this at a very young age in order to keep good habits throughout our lifetime. As you begin to grow and your weight shifts you need to counter act it with good posture. If you are slumping all of the time this will fast become a problem with your joints and muscles. You would be straining them too much all of the time.

Eat Healthy and Take Supplements - And a final note is to be aware that the little baby is going to lessen many of your different essential fatty acids, and nutrients. You need to eat healthy and take the supplements recommended by your doctors in order to have a happy and healthy mommy and baby.
