There is some leniency shown towards the former owners during the foreclosure and eviction process and the owners should try to get done with the process as quickly as possible in order to avoid any serious consequences.

It is advisable that you should not indulge yourself in serious legal matters and if there is no way you can find to pay off the mortgage then you should leave the place and find a new place to settle in. the bank takes over the property and they then auction the property in the market so that new owners can come and pay off the amount.

The bank usually send the local police or the sheriff with the court orders to remove the defaulted owners from the property so that any mishap happens the law enforcement department is present to counter any problems made by owners during the eviction process.
